A valid Shopify connection gives TaskerArmy the tenant-scoped theme context required for audits, staging work and clear sessions.
Use Shopify OAuth from the intended store account.
Enter the myshopify.com domain or open TaskerArmy from Shopify Admin and approve the requested scopes. The person authorizing the connection must have permission to install and manage apps for that store.
The shop domain identifies the Shopify installation, not a customer-supplied tenant id.
TaskerArmy resolves the store through the verified Shopify installation and the authenticated TaskerArmy workspace. Do not attempt to reconnect a store that belongs to another organization without authorization.
Confirm four onboarding checks in Stores.
The readiness panel confirms the Shopify connection, active theme detection, baseline audit and safe staging theme. Incomplete checks show the next useful action rather than hiding the limitation.
Save the storefront password only when a development store requires it.
A protected storefront can prevent previews and automated inspection from loading. Use the dedicated storefront-password field in Stores; never paste passwords into the agent conversation.
Repair the staging copy when it no longer matches required live-theme files.
The Repair action re-copies missing assets when a staging preview produces errors that do not occur on live. Review the result before starting implementation work.
Disconnect only when the store relationship should end.
Disconnecting removes the store from the active workspace and may affect sessions, previews and monitoring. Complete or preserve required records before removing the connection.
