Engineering Runs measure delivered analysis and implementation capacity while Shopify Billing handles merchant approval and app charges.
An Engineering Run represents well-defined product work.
Runs can cover analysis or implementation activity according to task complexity. Ordinary navigation and every individual message are not presented as separate billable engineering outcomes.
Each plan includes a monthly Engineering Run allowance.
The Billing page shows plan name, used capacity, remaining capacity and reset timing. Internal database fields may retain legacy internal capacity field names, but public product language remains Engineering Runs.
TaskerArmy reserves enough capacity before starting qualifying work.
The reservation prevents concurrent activity from overspending the same balance. After the operation, the system finalizes the actual charge or releases the reservation on failure, interruption or a no-op outcome.
Run Packs add one-time capacity without changing the subscription plan.
Available pack sizes and prices appear in Billing. A pack purchase follows Shopify's one-time app-purchase confirmation and is added only after the authoritative billing event is verified.
The merchant approves app charges through Shopify.
TaskerArmy creates the applicable Shopify billing confirmation. The merchant reviews and accepts the charge in Shopify, and entitlement changes are reconciled against Shopify's authoritative state.
Review the plan before capacity reaches zero.
The dashboard warns as usage approaches the monthly limit. Upgrade, purchase a Run Pack or wait for the reset rather than starting work the current balance cannot safely reserve.
